More than 150 children benefited from the special DANA discount
The Valencia CF Summer Camp has wrapped up another edition with figures that speak for themselves: a record number of participants with over 850 children, a record number of weeks with five sessions throughout the month of July, and a record number of nationalities, with children coming from more than 40 countries.
Two more figures highlight this edition of the Valencia CF Summer Camp as the most supportive and one with the most loyal followers: more than 150 children benefited from a special discount for populations affected by the DANA floods last October, and another 130 participants received a discount for having taken part in previous editions.
more than 25 years of Valencia CF summer camp
The Valencia CF Summer Camp began more than 25 years ago as a dream, and it has now become one of the most eagerly awaited events every summer. Registrations sell out months in advance - earlier and earlier each year - and new ways must be found to meet the high demand from local, national, and international participants, with children coming from over 40 different countries.
Much more than footbal with the vcf foundation
Every detail is carefully planned to ensure that the boys and girls enjoy football at the Valencia CF Training Ground, following the methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth-best in Europe in terms of producing elite-level players: pitch training, challenges, games, a focus on nutrition and hydration, and lots of fun with water games and complementary recreational and educational activities, organised in collaboration with the VCF Foundation.
With first-team players
Particularly exciting were the visits from Valencia CF first-team players and VCF Femenino players. Luis Rioja, Dani Raba, Jesús Vázquez, Julen Agirrezabala and Copete, as well as Tere Morató, Celia Fernández and Claudia Ferrato, visited the Valencia CF Summer Camp, causing a stir and delighting the young participants.
...Already thinking about 2026
More than 1,000 people - including children, coaches, monitors, logistics team and staff - made up the working group that can now rest with the satisfaction of a job well done. And with the excitement of knowing that in 2026, the Valencia CF Summer Camp will return once again.
